ENA Scientific Assembly Registration Scholarship Application - 2011

The Florida Emergency Nurses Association (FENA) will annually award three (3) scholarships for reimbursement of the expense of registration to attend the Emergency Nurses Association Scientific Assembly. The amount of the scholarship will be the amount charged for a current registration fee.

Registration Scholarship Eligibility Requirements:

  • Florida ENA member at the time of application
  • License to practice as a registered nurse in the state of Florida
  • Active in ENA at the local, state, and/or national level defined as:
    • Committee member, chairperson
    • TNCC/ENPC instructor
    • ENCARE provider
    This activity will be verified in writing by the local chapter or FENA president
  • Attendance at 50% local/state meetings
Process:
  1. Complete the application form.
  2. Attach documentation of registration at the ENA Scientific Assembly
  3. Submit application by the deadline date.
Applications not meeting all of the above requirements will be ineligible for review.

Review Process:
  1. Applications will be reviewed by the FENA Awards and Scholarships Committee for completeness.
  2. Awards will be determined by random drawing of those meeting all requirements.
Completed applications will be discarded after the drawing. It is necessary to resubmit an application each time that consideration for a scholarship is requested. Applications and all accompanying material become the property of FENA and may not be returned.

Deadline:
Completed applications must be received by June 30, 2011. Awardees will be announced at the October 2011 FENA meeting and mailed to recipients immediately thereafter.
